_In the docs, filed in L.A., Brand cites "irreconcilable differences." The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India.  They have no kids.

The divorce documents say there are "community property assets" -- it's a sign there might not be a prenup, or if there is one it doesn't cover all of the earnings and other assets they accumulated.

The papers do not give a date the couple separated.

Russell has released a statement, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Russell proposed to Katy in India on New Year's Eve 2009 -- nearly two years ago ... to the day.

Sources had told the couple was having problems, evidenced by the fact that they spent Christmas apart and neither was wearing a wedding ring.

Russell appeared on "Ellen" just this month, slamming divorce rumors -- claiming, "I'm really happily married ... I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I’m still alive."

Sources say Katy and Russell knew the relationship was on the rocks a couple of months ago -- but didn't want to give up on the marriage without making a concerted effort to work things out. But the effort fell flat ... with both sides feeling "it just wasn't there."

Reports also say both Katy and Russell were on board with the divorce a few weeks ago -- but they didn't want to be in town when the papers were filed ... so he went back to England and she booked it to Hawaii.

Since Katy's parents are evangelical Christians, we're told she didn't want to be the one to "officially" end the marriage by filing the docs ... since she was raised to believe divorce is wrong.

After he filed the docs, Russell released a statement Friday insisting the two will "remain friends."

Model Dollicia Bryan has been rumored to be dating everyone from Kris Humphries to Rob Kardashian, but it turns out she's Drake's new lady. A rep for Bryan confirmed to TheYBF.com that she and Drake are a couple.

"Yes, Drake and Dollicia are dating. They're both in L.A. right now spending the holidays together," said the rep.

According to the website, the pair met earlier this year at Bryan's birthday party. At the time the 28-year-old was dating actor Hill Harper, and Drake stopped by because his DJ was working the event.

_ A former family nanny is shopping a tell-all book about her time with the K-squad before they were famous ... and it's clear she HATED some of the kids.

The woman behind the book, Pam Behan, served as a nanny, personal assistant and cook for Bruce and Kris Jenner for years ... and spent all sorts of time with the Kardashian girls AND the Jenner boys, Brody and Brandon.

It's reported that in the book, Pam makes it clear -- she couldn't stand Bruce's sons ... calling the two kids, "extremely spoiled and disrespectful."

In the book, we're told Pam also claims she almost lost her job after slapping Brandon one day.

As for the Kardashians -- we're told Pam describes her relationship with Kris as a "love/hate" thing ... but she seems fond of Bruce, claiming he helped her avoid prosecution when she was busted for DUI a while back.

We're told Pam also promises to reveal some "intimate details" about Kourtney and Kim --  surprising, because we're told the girls were very fond of her.

Sources say the book has been pitched to several major literary agents -- but it's unclear if a deal has been struck.

Kelly Clarkson's Facebook page was on fire overnight -- with fans divided after the first "American Idol" winner posted support for Republican candidate Ron Paul.

"I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance," Kelly posted last night. "If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t."

And with that ... her followers went wild with a debate spanning over 1,000 comments.

"Oh no! Are you a Republican? I hoped you were a Democrat," one disappointed commenter wrote -- with another adding "That awkward moment when one of your favorite singers supports a bigoted, hateful candidate..."

One (former?) fan even posted "Does anyone want my Kelly Clarkson floor seats in South Fl. Just realized I might no longer be a fan!?"

Not all the comments were anti-Kelly though -- with some sticking up for the Texan.

"Yay for you being a Republican!!! there aren't many celebs like you out there! great to hear this!!! be true to yourself! =)" said one.

Another added, "She's just expressing her opinions, freedom of speech, REMEMBER? all you people need to seriously calm down!!"

Kelly addressed the Facebook feud later, posting a follow-up message saying "I am really sorry if I have offended anyone ... I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women’s rights, men’s rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country."

After that post was meant with another 1,500 comments, she also added: 

LMFAO was forced to stop their concert early in Honduras last night -- when a fire burned through the concert venue ... but cops believe the blaze was no accident. 

According to local news reports, the fire broke out at the Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros ... towards the end of the LMFAO concert. 

The group reportedly ended their show after smoke began to fill the arena.  

According to the reports, no one was killed in the blaze -- but at least 15 people were treated for smoke inhalation. 

Cops told local media ... they suspect a "criminal hand" set fire to the electrical system. It's unclear if any arrests have been made. 

After the show, Redfoo tweeted about the incident -- first joking, "Epic concert tonight!!!! Everybody in Honduras, we set the place on fire!!!!" 

He also explained, "They told us that there was a fire when we were on stage.Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls." Also tweeting, "On a serious note. Hope everybody is safe from the fire tonight! love you Honduras!" 

Rumors that Katy Perry and Russell Brand are calling off their marriage have just been fueled by explosive new photos ... of Russell in London ... NOT wearing his wedding ring.

Taylor Swift is thinking about their goals for next year.

Miranda Lambert wants to focus on songwriting. Her Grammy-winning hit "The House That Built Me" was a game-changer in her career. The problem? She didn't write it.

"I'd love to actually write a song that was nominated for song of the year. That would be a huge thing to me," said Lambert, who is kicking off her "On Fire" tour Jan. 12 in Rockford, Ill. "Eventually over the next five years I'd maybe like to win entertainer of the year – when I've earned it."

The resolutions Lambert's husband, Blake Shelton, is making have nothing to do with self-improvement. He has high hopes for other people in his life, including two of the singers he mentored as a judge on NBC's "The Voice," Dia Frampton and Xenia Martinez.

Brad Paisley's goal is to set new ones. He spent 2011 on tour as the reigning Country Music Association entertainer of the year. He reunited country supergroup Alabama for his song "Old Alabama," and he wrote a book. He said he has some ideas "to reinvent" and "have some fun with the success" he's had, but he's also learned a lot about himself along the way.

"I have a career that's on a bit of autopilot in the sense that I feel I can rest easy a little bit more. ... I don't feel that people are just going to leave me. They're not going to just move on. We do well, and it's a great feeling," said Paisley. "I guess I've just learned to be a little more comfortable with who I am."

Deion Sanders' estranged wife is a "gold diggin h*e" who has been screwing around behind Deion's back ... this according to the NFL star's daughter.

Rachel Uchitel -- former Tiger Woods mistress has announced that she's preggo ... and by the looks of the photo, she's pretty convinced the baby belongs to her husband Matt Hahn. 

Rachel and Matt secretly tied the knot back in October. The two have been living together in San Francisco ever since. 

Uchitel tweeted the photos last night -- and wrote, "Expecting big things for 2012... Five down, Four months to go." By our math, the baby is due sometime around the end of April. 

John Legend received an early birthday gift over the Holiday weekend -- his girlfriend said yes!

The Grammy Award-winning singer, who will celebrate his 33rd birthday on Wednesday, popped the question to longtime girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen, 26. John's rep told PEOPLE, "John Legend and his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives."

Chrissy took to her Twitter to confirm the news herself, noting "we are :) and thank you." She then jokingly noted, "he went to Jared." John added his own thanks for fans, tweeting "Thanks for all the well wishes everybody."
