Kodak Says Good-Bye to Hollywood Landmark
With Hollywood's biggest night just over a week away, there's a big change coming for the home of the Oscars.
The Kodak name will soon disappear from the landmark venue at Hollywood and Highland.
Kodak has been granted the right to remove its name from the building, as part of the company's bankruptcy reorganization.
The company says it simply cannot afford to pay $3.5 million for the naming rights.
No word yet whether or not the name will be removed by Oscar night, or what the building will be called once Kodak's name is removed.
